I am not sure whether you should go for Free Credit Reports or not, but having them checked and be prepared before going to apply for a loan is a great idea since there can be few errors which are purely not of your fault so getting them removed at the last moment is not a good idea. It may take time, so prepare yourself well.

Hello Bill,

Free Credit Report.com is a scam and is NOT free. They have you sign up for a monthly subscription fee and then give you a “free” credit report. Annual Credit Report.com is the only truly free credit report that consumers can receive, albeit one per year. Thanks for the comments.
