7 Steps Program

One of our most successful programs that we have developed is the “7 Steps To Home Ownership.” If you are committed to working our plan, typically, we can get you into a home within 6 months to 1year. After your initial consultation with one of our qualified “7 Steps To Home Ownership” counselors, you will receive a custom action plan taylored to you personally to fit your financial needs.

Upon completion of the your education, counseling, and custom action plan, Credit Education Resources will give you a Certificate of Completion and an Approved Home Buyer Certificate. You will then be ready to purchase a home.

“The 7 Steps To Home Ownership”

1.  A confidential assessment of your credit report and your financial situation.

2.  Examination of your credit report and verification of all accounts for accuracy. 79% of credit reports have inaccurate information in them!

3.  We start a savings plan for you through the use of our comprehensive budget. This starts you on the path to have money for a down payment and pay off old accounts.

4.  We educate you on the Credit Scoring Model and how credit scores are determined.

5.  We educate you on the home buying and what can be expected throughout the entire process.

6.  We educate on you on the different mortgages that are available in today’s volatile market.

7.  You graduate from “The 7 Steps To Home Ownership Program” and receive a Certificate of Completion and an Approved Home Buyer Certificate.
